Hole 9 – Green and Bunker Renovation Work REMINDER
The 9th hole will temporarily close from Monday, 13th November until Friday, 17th November to enable our golf course maintenance team to make some improvements. During this time, we will be opening Hole 12A for continued play. Hole 9 will reopen for play Saturday, 18th for the Member’s morning Competition.
Planned improvements include:
- The instillation of a new turf perimeter around the edge of the green (Tiftuf grass) to reduce future encroachment.
- Internal encroachment work to remove invasive grass within the green.
- Unwanted sand will be removed from bunkers to ensure appropriate depths in the base improves playability and from the faces to reduce plugging.
- A trial set of steps will be installed in the rear bunker with the aim of making it easier to enter and exit the bunker.
